This notice explains how DomusGraphy processes personal data when you use
www.domusgraphy.com. We do not sell personal data.
Controller

Data we process
Account email and credentials (hashed password); tree content you enter (people,
relationships, notes); files you upload; billing identifiers and subscription status
from Stripe when you subscribe; technical logs needed to operate and secure the
service; pseudonymous usage and interaction data collected to understand how the
product is used.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to create and operate your account and tree (contract); to take
payment and manage Pro subscriptions via Stripe (contract); to send password-reset
messages when you request them (contract / legitimate interest in account security);
to keep the service available and secure (legitimate interest); and to measure and
improve how the product is used (legitimate interest).
Processors and infrastructure
We use specialized service providers that process personal data only on our
instructions: a payment processor (Stripe) for subscriptions; a transactional email
provider for account messages (such as password reset and email verification);
infrastructure providers for hosting, delivery, and security of the service and its
data; and, when you Accept optional analytics, a third-party session analytics
provider that processes pseudonymous usage data to help us improve the product.
Cookies
We use an essential session cookie named dg_session to keep you signed in. Optional
session analytics cookies from a third-party provider load only if you Accept in the
analytics prompt. Reject keeps those cookies from loading. These are not advertising
cookies.
Retention
Account and tree data are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion
or export. Billing records may be retained as required for accounting and fraud
prevention. Session cookies expire when the session ends or according to server
configuration.
Public tree viewer
We process a compatible file to generate a temporary family-tree preview. We record
your IP address, browser, and language to operate the viewer and prevent abuse. If you
later create an account, we associate that account with this visualization. We do not
use it for marketing. For questions or requests, email [email protected].
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and
objection where applicable under GDPR/RGPD. You may also lodge a complaint with your
supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email [email protected].
These terms govern use of DomusGraphy at www.domusgraphy.com. By creating an account
you agree to them.
Service and freemium
DomusGraphy lets you create and explore genealogical family trees. The Free plan
allows up to 270 people in your tree, up to 100 profile photos per tree, and up to
100 documents or 500 MB of document storage (whichever comes first). Pro allows up
to 1000 profile photos per tree and 5 GB of total attachment storage per account.
Above the people limit you need an active Pro subscription. For technical and
fair-use reasons, each tree may contain at most 10,000 people.
Pro pricing
Pro is €4.99 per month or €49 per year (annual saves about two months versus monthly). Prices
are shown in Account before checkout.
Payment
When Stripe is configured by the operator, paid plans are purchased through Stripe
Checkout. Stripe processes your payment details; DomusGraphy receives subscription
status needed to unlock Pro.
Cancel and resume
You may cancel Pro from Account. Cancellation is cancel-at-period-end: you keep Pro
until the current billing period ends. Before that date you may Resume to continue
renewals. After the period ends, the account returns to Free (270-person limit).
Refunds
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time after cancel-at-period-end. Where EU
consumer withdrawal rules apply, starting the service (creating a tree or using the
paid entitlement) with clear consent may limit the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Your obligations
You are responsible for the accuracy of family data you enter and for keeping
credentials private. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Do not
attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.
Liability
DomusGraphy is provided as-is for genealogy exploration. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or
for decisions you make based on tree data.
Updates
We may update these terms as the product and billing arrangements evolve. Continued
use after changes are published on this page constitutes acceptance of the updated
terms.
DomusGraphy provides software for creating and exploring genealogical family trees,
including a freemium plan and optional paid Pro subscription.
Intellectual property
Site design, branding, and software belong to the operator or its licensors. Tree
content you enter remains yours; you grant us a license to host and process it to
provide the service.
